Well if union was as divided as league is, then they would probably sell as many tickets to actual union fans as league does to league fans, although we know union if fortunate that 10s of thousands of of none fans will turn us as well

Ambitious, obviously expecting big crowds
Why have you posted this on the VT and not in Other Sports? You are aware that the 2000 RLWC staged matches at nationally located football stadiums and that was one of the major reasons that the tournament was such a disaster? Were you one of the posters complaining about the opening ceremony being held at the Millennium Stadium next year?

I put it on there cos I thought it might make a valid discussion point about the ambition of the RFU. Might be good to discuss why the international game of RL is not as well supported by footfall or media.

No I wasn't one of those complaining about the opening ceremony but thanks for tarring me with that brush!

I am not in the least bit surprised at being attacked by one so precious as yourself, coming on here and trying to defend where there is no need. You come across as a sad desperate individual planted as a VT weapon and I feel for you and that low iq and little man syndrome of yours!

If that is the case, then you have no right whatsoever to make any criticisms at all about the tournament, the RFL or RL fans in general, because you are typical of the pathetic, self-defeating attitude that keeps the sport in the gutter.

I can criticise whatever I like, you have no right to stop me, you bully

And for the record, I went to four games during the last World Cup on this shores, watching a game at Wrexham (I forget who), England v Russia at Knowsley Road, a semi final and the final.

I'll be going to the game at Langtree Park this time around as well as a couple of other games, plus the final no doubt. It's not me you need to preach to, it's them others.
