Incidentally your thread is not being ignored on purpose it's just that most Swinton postings happen on TotalRL.com where incidentally there are some very good photos of our old Station Rd ground as today marks the 20th anniversary of our last ever match played there before it was stolen and sold by a band of theives called directors.

I always thought the final game was against Huddersfield at Station Road but a quick internet search shows it was Salford. I was at the Hudds game that year, must have been the last time we would have been able to play you then.
I remember we all went onto the pitch after the game and the Swinton fans came across, shook hands and thanked us for coming. Great day for us, I think we won but a sad day for Swinton fans and one I've never forgotten. A great club with a great history. Hope you enjoy yourselves on Sunday.
