Shame his time with us has been blighted by big injuries but I still feel he’s been a good signing for us and having his presence in the squad will have helped with our recent turn around, even at his age and with the tough competition for places in the front row he was always in the 17 when fit. |

Real shame for the lad to not finish on the field. Hopefully a medical retirement means a bit of £ from insurance to add to his retirement fund. Great career and a real tough lad and leader been a real positive influence over the squad I’m sure even when out injured driving standards. |

A real shame that he isn't going out on his own terms. That said, I hope he feels a damn sight better going out this way than he would've done had we let him go last season. Finishing at 35 having played your part in winning the world club challenge and at Wembley is far beyond what most players get. |

Sad way to have to bow out but he definitely did a job for us in his time here, good luck to him on whatever he does next |

He's had an excellent career and I felt went under the radar a bit in the NRL, no flash in him but consistent on both sides of the ball. Good luck to him. |

Sorry to see him retire, but he must do what is right for him and his family. I thought he was a great signing at the time with his vast experience and maturity. Good luck Mike in whatever you do. |

Yea sorry to see him go was hoping we’d of seen him play again on the run up to the playoffs. Hopefully a role for him in the club be a shame to loose that experience |

Good luck Mike in whatever you do. Can’t really add much to that Jason other than it would have been great if he retired after a successful GF in October. Great summary. |

Good pro, a sad way to finish but the lad has to look after his health. |
