Probably something to do with surrendering a home fixture with Warrington next year and how they can justify a hike when there are less games to attend.

Wigan have already said that they will make an allowance for that game in the pricing for the 2025 season ticket.

i would think given all the issues with Ticketmaster, and the season tickets this season, they are probably making sure all the details and correct and accurate before any renewals are sent out. The club quite rightly got some pelters from fans, but are probably keen to avoid a repeat
