Think you’ll be spot on with that line up. Yea I’d leave Byrne out for this one and bring him in the next few games hopefully to redeem himself. Last thing we need in a final is someone getting sent off and any head high will buy meters for both sides. Cooper and Thompson to set the platform and discipline |

I think Byrne plays personally. Seems to be highly rated by Peet and when fit and not banned seems to make the 17 every game |

Right this is probably me reading too much into it. But Wigan have put up a nice speech from Chris Brooks to the squad about burrow/DDay. The non-playing members were wearing a different kit (Keighran, Eseh, Farrimond) and the playing squad were wearing the black training top. Interestingly Walters and Hill were in the different kit and Byrne and Cooper were in the black training top. I feel it would be a mistake not to play Walters given his versatility (not many of our props could jump into the back row). My view on the Cooper/Hill/Byrne debate is that Matty Peet has very often not selected Hill, and also Cooper (weird he didn’t play last week instead of Dupree). I don’t think Peet has ever dropped Byrne so I feel he will be picked and probably start. I’d give him the first 20 mins then bring Havard on to play the majority of the game. |

I am jetting off to Tenerife today and miss all of the game. I’ll be the only person on the flight who’s nervous about a rugby match rather than being on a plane |

Bloody outstanding. Played like trojans despite the best efforts of the ref and video ref to keep it competitive. Fully deserved and the best team on the planet |

Not a great advert for the game apparently.... Need more 'Entertainers' in the finals |
