Very quiet on here re Wembley. Suppose it’s a sign of a fanbase more than used to our big days out :D

How many do we think we’ll take down there?
If between us & Wire we can break through the 65k mark I’ll be relieved.
Was really hoping for a Wigan Saints final this year and felt that it was our best bet as a sport of pushing that attendance figure up but also the wider interest & media coverage.

Tips for parking? - I always park at Stanmore & tube the last 4 stops in to Wembley Wembley Park. It’s a tried & tested location and route & one I recommend.
Was considering Wealdstone and their traditional Wembley fan park but they’re not putting it on for the CC final this year. Shame really as I know lots who’ve used it recently for my football teams visit to Wembley and praised the event no end.

I’d be happy with a 65k crowd and 20k from us as a minimum. Important to sell the allocation behind the sticks for how it’ll look on TV. I’m in 126, didnt want to risk buying from the club so went early on the RFL website. Apartment booked for Fri-Sun and the train to get there and back. Looking forward to it, went to Spurs the other year and it didn’t quite feel the same not being at Wembley but loved the stadium.

We’ve done the same with RFL tickets. Always do. Never once bought for Wembley from Wigan.
In fact after buying for OT last year from the club I think I prefer the increased chance of neutrals in & amongst us instead of certain Wiganers who’ve been on the pop all day & then turn considerably when the nerves hit them.

We’re up in 237 next week, after recently trying those club Wembley seats for a football match at Wembley.
I’ve sat all over the ground over the years with football & rugby but had never been in that middle tier.
Honestly don’t see myself ever sitting elsewhere now, given the option. The view is excellent & the offering on the concourse is much much better.

Few offers on through RFL got Club Wembley for £30 each.

Never done it before but I’m told it’s very good for access to bars etc.

Difficult to tell how big our following will be - I get the impression we haven't sold as many as Warrington through the club as we've only just now sold all of the allocated lower bowl tickets with some still left up high. With all of the ticketing issues I'm sure a lot will have gone through the RFL.

I'd be surprised if the crowd was much over 60k but hopefully won't be much lower. IMG and/or the RFL did a decent job with the Grand Final last year so hopefully we see something similar this year at Wembley.

Lesson learnt. I think, in future years, I'll buy from the RFL, and not bother with getting tickets from the club at all. Seems wrong that you can get a better deal buying from the RFL than from the club, but it is what it is.
