He did well in his first outing yesterday. Looks to be more to come when he gets match fit and fully cohesive with the team. Thought he did well to assist Wardle for his try, first to get to the ball with a few Kr players hanging round then to get the offload off. Also pinning Lewis into touch. I think his versatility playing prop and 2nd row will mean he starts most games off the bench. Would like to see us rest Farrell one game and see how Nsemba and Walters go at 2nd row

I see Walters & Junior as the future for our 2nd row (hopefully for years to come). Exciting times.

Love Faz to bits ,but the thought of Walters & Nsemba in the second row must strike fear into the opposition.

Nsemba’s work rate is amazing he left a few kr player on the deck with his carries and that line he ran to score the try you could see a mile off but the problem is you can’t stop it. Only criticism is he was caught offside a few times yesterday but imagine that was down to his putting himself about in defence. It’s been said before but Walter is a giant can’t wait for him and Leeming to link up again.

Good explanation from Peet as to why Walters got picked for the bench.

Added versatility, 3 props on the bench is overkill, especially when Thompson and probably Havard could do 80 mins.

I always think about injury cover have Walters on the bench means….

If a props goes down he can do a spell at prop easily.

If a second rower goes down obviously that’s his preferred position.

If a centre gets injured, Farrell can go there and Walters into the backrow.

If a winger gets injured, a centre can go to the wing, Farrell to centre, Walters to back row.

He should keep that 4th bench spot IMO.

I think that’s our best and most balanced 17 that played yesterday, certainly at the minute. It covers a lot of bases and has real power and impact coming from the bench. We have probably 5 first team props sitting outside that 17 at the moment but one would and should need to smash the door down to get back in and in turn somebody in that 17 will need to drop their current level.

Walters in the 17 provides more flexibility and obviously covers us in case of a second row or even centre injury. In a big game still in the balance though I don't know if he comes into play atm. I suspected Nsemba would be better off this year in short bursts off the bench but he seems to be coping very well with longer minutes. He really does have the potential to become one of the world's best second rowers - seems destined for the NRL. We just have to hope it won't be soon.

I can certainly see him eclipsing KPP.
