All the coaching staff deserve some reward for their great efforts but 7 years is a heck of a long time.Don't think I've ever heard of such long contracts. Maybe the NRL have been circling? |

There will be break clauses in those deals, but good luck to the lads, there is little to dislike since Danson took the helm. |

I'm made up with this. Long term stability, creates long-term success imo. All the great managers do 10 + years at a club and that's across most sports too. I'll also add that there's very few things left for Peet to do. A sign of a great coach is how they rebuild sides and create new stars. If he can do that here, then he'll have done something very, very special. Something as well, that not many SL coaches get to do. |

7 years is unique. Right now I wouldn't swap Peet O'Loughlin or Leuluai for anyone but a lot can change in 7 years. |
