2024 Challenge Cup Sixth Round Draw
The draw for the sixth round of the 2024 Betfred Challenge Cup took place tonight at the BBC studios in Salford with former League star Iestyn Harris doing the honours of revealing the ties.

All twelve Super League sides were looking to avoid one another with just three wins required for a Wembley appearance, while the remaining four sides from outside the top division; Batley Bulldogs, Featherstone Rovers, Halifax Panthers and Sheffield Eagles, were all looking for a big pay day and a potential Super League scalp.

It was an exciting night for fans of rugby league.

Sheffield at home while Saints go to Leeds week before Good Friday, it’s almost like we run the league 8)

Great opportunity to get some more game time for Farrimond, Eckersley, Chan, Forber, Douglas, Hampshire and co. It’s a shame it’s not away but you can’t grumble at that draw.

Good on one hand to get an easy draw and we were probably due one - all of our draws in 2022/2023 have been SL teams.

It does seem a bit of a waste of time though. Bilko posted an idea on Twitter suggesting we seed clubs in the last 16 and have the seeded clubs play away to the other 8. Sounds sensible to me.

shame its not away but there you go. I hope they get a decent crowd on but I don't know I can't see it if they pitch the price to high

Behave thats far to sensible a idea for the RFl amd I agree with Bilko by the way
