Great to see Nsemba back. If he's ready to go, I'd consider a bench spot I think. In terms of the side, I think we need to try and strike a balance between being totally respectful and trying to give a couple of opportunities out (which will allow a couple of players to rest up). I'd probably go something like- Field Miski Keighran Wardle Eckersley Hampshire Smith Dupree O'Neill Thompson Isa Farrell Chan Subs Mago Hill Nsemba Forber Looking forward to it. |

Field Miski Keighran Eckersley Douglas Hampshire Farrimond Dupree O'neill Thompson Isa Farrell Ellis Forber Hill Nsemba Mago I think i would be open to Chan taking a starting second row spot if we felt either Isa or Farrell would benefit from the week off, i do feel a bit harsh leaving him off as i don't think he did anything particularly wrong last time out and games are going to be hard for him to come by as it is. |

All depends on who Peet feels might benefit from a week off really - Liam Marshall is obviously one but it wouldn't surprise me if there were a couple of others. Can't imagine London having a chance if the attitude is right but Peet can't be blamed if he rotates key players and something does go wrong - any 17 out of that 21 should be more than good enough to get the win. |

Fully agree. Some people will always say to play your first choice team but it's not only about resting players when you leave guys out, it's about keeping everyone happy and getting them some chances. You look at Hampshire and Eckersley and one played a couple of games and the other not at all. In the case of Hampshire he could've walked and I'm confident he would've got a starting shirt elsewhere (be that lower superleague or high up in the Championship) and Eckersley has been playing well out on loan, was seemingly promised a chance last year and then for one reason or another, he didn't get it. Those two as a minimum should get the chance this week IMO and if we lose the game, it won't be because there wasn't enough talent on the field and will all be on the attitude not being right on the day. FWIW, I think we will rest a few and we'll be fine and will win the game by 18+ points. |

Should we pick up a knock in the halves that will see someone out for a few weeks then Rocky steps in, but in a 1 off game with squad rotation the experience Farrimond will get will benefit the club more than giving Rocky the start. |

I see the logic in that, but if it's a toss up between the two I'd still start Hampshire. Partially because like you say, he's the next cab off the rank if we pick up an injury and he's probably needs first team rugby than anyone else in the squad. But he's also had to be so patient for his chance to play, it'd be a real kick in the teeth for him to get overlooked for Farrimond now. Hopefully we'll get a kind draw in the Challenge cup and they'll both get game time before Easter. |

Not sure if Peet will gamble with a Hampshire/Farrimond partnership on Saturday but I’m certain at least one of them will get a starting slot. I’d be tempted to move French to FB and rest Field and Smith. |
