Just seen a post on twitter:

5 x Super League Champion
4 x League Leaders Winner
3 x Challenge Cup Winner
2 x World Club Challenge Winner

That's some going (and very good chance of increasing this as well).

A very special player who I don’t think we appreciate enough.

Seems to be a great captain too.

Wish more players were like him and SOL, Wiganers who just want to play for Wigan their whole careers then retire.

One of the most ridiculously consistent players we’ve ever had.

And yet, he gets little or no recognition from opposition supporters. There are the odd ones who recognise what we see week in / week out

his try scoring record for a back row isnt too bad either (1 in every 2.5 games average over his career) and he has struck up great relationships with at least 3 different stand offs, who have been able to work with him and utilise the great lines he runs and put him through the gaps

Yet he can't get a fair crack at the international scene.

Six times in the Super League dream team, the most for any second row forward, So underrated by many opposition fans.

Wayne Bennett especially but also Wane in the series just gone should hang their heads in shame about the lack of caps Liam Farrell has but they have at least kept him fresh for us.

There's nothing better than having a lad who is one of the best second rowers you could wish to see being so humble and down to earth. He is quiet and balanced but an absolute machine on the field. He is our James Roby and will go down as a legend of the club when he retires.

He’s so modest that he’ll say he came into the team at the right time but he is a massive part of the success of the last 14 years.

I’m remember Hocks amazing 2012 season then he went I was a little worried about Farrell as the replacement but in 2013 I genuinely thought Farrell was a Man of Steel contender.

From 2013 to present day his game is just exactly the same, he’s had no bad years. Just runs brilliant lines, great support play, work rate is unbelievable and the heart of lion.

Hall of famer.

Got a couple of friends from Wigan, When they ask why I watch Wigan on tv? my answer always is cause I enjoy watching Farrell. The guy is a machine and never gives in. True champion of a player (Hull fan)

Outstanding player, loyal one club man and a credit to the game.

He is that good he could get on the subs bench for the mighty Saints.
