I'll start with the obvious cliche - after that ref tonight, the games gone.

I honestly thought I'd never say this, but I don't want Wigan to play next week. Even after losing 75-0 to our bitterest rivals, I still wanted to see us play. Next week, I want nothing to do with the sport. It's a become a parody of everything that it once sold itself on.

Enough is enough and I want either the club, or players to go on strike. If the club grew some balls and publicly announced it was striking, I'd happily pay into a crowd fund or buy a "none match" ticket to support them. I'm a ST holder too.

I can't think of anything worse than going to watch what will
undoubtedly be a pen fest next week. The game after that, who knows who'll be out there.

RU, a game I used to play and enjoy watching, has killed itself. Don't let that happen to British RL.

I’m struggling to put my thoughts in to words at the minute. I just don’t know where we go. Rich Whiting tweeted that literally one insurer would cover the sport and they’re pushing all this. We’re skint and cannot afford to push back, so where can the sport go? To think we’ve got such a big game tomorrow, I’ve actually felt pretty deflated since that red card. A feeling is hanging over me that we should enjoy tomorrow because we might not see another game of the rugby league we fell in love with for a long time (well not in the flesh anyway. Maybe we’ll see it on the TV from Australia).

My thoughts exactly. I'd say we've got one game of "proper RL" left and that's tomorrow. I'd even say that tomorrow is right on the line of what I'd class as "proper RL" too. It literally can't go beyond this point and be classed as RL.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe Derek's breakaway league might be the only answer. Either that, or the NRL comes in to save us. A step change is obviously needed.

Just do spear tackles. The mrp will realise it was a Wigan player and let then off, and instead blame the attacker

If I could wish a serious injury on anyone, it would be you. I'd happily watch it happen on repeat too.

Whatever happens, tomorrow will be a sticking plaster over the gaping wound that the RFL have self-inflicted on us. Whether we win or lose, it won't matter. The time for some kind of aggressive response is now.
