Zak will be the deserving victim of his own indiscipline. He's nothing like the force he once was. He wasn't what we'd hoped for at Wigan. That must be at least partly down to his lifestyle. So, in due course, probably much sooner than it would have been otherwise, he'll be an ex-RL player ... and then what?
But those people who went out of their way to give him another chance, and even try to organise rehab and support, have basically been thrown on the scrapheap.
Call me an idiot for asking, but will Leigh now need to invest in a chauffeur for him? We've all seen how difficult it is to get him to actually move away from his beloved Ponte.
I've run out of sympathy for the bad lads of the world. They bring these disasters on themselves, and harm others in the process.
