Miski has signed a new 4 year deal, got to say I’m a little surprised by the length of the deal given his age but happy he’s staying long term.

Another great signing.

He’s a big part of why we are successful with his ability to make post contact meters and find his front carrying out of our half early in the set.

His ties don’t do us any harm either.

Really chuffed for him. He’s done things the hard way to get in to a top Superleague side and looks the sort who just cracked on when he wasn’t in the team.

The squad as a whole now looks tied down for the next few seasons (bar the odd fringe player or a guy like Isa, who will go year to year) and that gives you a great chance to win things. Hopefully Field and Miski sticking around leads to French taking up his 2 year option as well.

Great news

Abbas always strikes me as someone to carry the torch when Isa goes. He’s just came in done his job and took his chance looks to be a good lad and well liked by the team

I think we may see Bevan sign a new contact :)

I personally think people calling him "solid" and saying that he "does the job" is a disservice to him. He's usually superb under the high ball, can finish very well (e.g. last second try against Hull KR last season), meters after contact probably the highest in the league for wingers and seems like he trains his booty off. We're very lucky to have him and Marshall on each side.

Absolutely. I'm sure our back three are the envy of SL.

I think it’s just because he’s not got electric pace and isn’t the type to weave in and out of defenders and go the full length but although that would be nice we don’t need that as we have pace to burn elsewhere and having that would certainly take away a lot of his ability to make hard yards from deep and the post contact meters which will be even more important now that King has left and been replaced by Keighran.

Not too sure on this one.

Obviously fantastic last season but a 4 year deal for someone who turns 29 this season?
