Great news. Made that wing his own and his form has probably forced Cust out of the club which you would never have expected this time last year. He has bits to work on, however his go forward at the start of sets is a key asset has it gets us on the front foot nearly every time he carries. |

A strike rate of 19 tries in 22 games is none too shabby either! |

If you trail back though my posts you’ll see I criticised his defence under the high ball and his finishing. Well and truly proved me wrong on both accounts. Doesn’t have the elite pace but more than makes up for it in other areas (and we have plenty of speed elsewhere in the team) Abbas Miski from Lebanon |

He's been very good, fair play to him. Thought Wigan might have wanted to sort out a longer deal to be honest. |

Presume they'll re-visit that next season (or maybe even in the off season) and look how the quota stands and what sort of salary increase they could afford under the cap. As things stand, his salary must be pretty low given he came from the Championship and the option was in the clubs favour. If he were English, it would be a no brainer to extend him by another 2 or 3 seasons but there must be a bit to weigh up. |

You'd imagine he will be in serious demand if he decides not to sign anything else in pre-season. |

Now they know where the quota stands, with Isa and Mago staying on but on only one year deals, you’d think they could get that longer term deal sorted out for Miski. He’s been absolutely fantastic and looks well worthy of an extended stay. If we need spots for 2025, they can open them up easily enough elsewhere. I suppose the amount of cap space they have will play a big part. No doubt Miski can now demand a better salary. |

I don’t think there is any doubt that he will be offered an extended contract, we will have significant funds available when Isa, Mago and Cooper leave at the end of 2024. |
