Matt Peet has made two changes to his 21-player squad as injured duo Kai Pearce-Paul and Ethan Havard drop out of the squad in place of Tom Forber and Harvey Makin.

Hill for Havard would be the only change you’d imagine. There are no excuses for us with injuries. HKR are short of Coote, Abdull and Milnes in the backs and Kennedy and King have dropped out in the front row, so it’s all pretty even on that score.

We need to stop that run of league defeats and I’m confident we can.

Playing incredibly well are Hull KR, already beaten us once and currently on a good run. Will do well to win there.

Hull KR are on a good run and full credit to Willie Peters and his staff but with them having a few notable absentees it gives me some hope we can reverse the result from Round One.

That being said, usually one of Litten or Parcell has a worldie against us and we must contain them.

Should be a great game.

Even more important than usual to control the ruck against HKR.

Looking forward to seeing Hill again

I'd rest Powell, start with O'Neil and have Cust on the bench. Cust has to get back to match fitness and the only way of doing that is by playing him.

French,
Miski, King, Wardle, Marshall,
Hampshire, Smith,
Ellis, O'Neil, Byrne,
Farrell, Smithies,
Shorrocks.

Mago, Hill, Nsemba, Cust.

Is that not what the reserves are for?

Send him out on loan then. He might have the #6 on his back, but he's no way the finished product there, or an absolute key cog in what we do. I'm not sure that, with his defence (or lack of it), he's miles ahead of Hampshire. He's certainly behind Field, who's only played about 10 games there.

This has been one of the most frustrating performances. We look ok with the ball and defending well. But our error count is horrendous. Dropped balls, ball steals, penalties in possession, kicks out on the full.

Yea also who was dummy at that play the ball for Smithies. I did think we’d get walked over so glad we’ve had some great defence. Smith needs to settle down a little
