We’re being propped up by Ian Lenagan (and maybe Danson but who knows) and the financial results aren’t good but that must be really worrying from a Huddersfield perspective. It’s admirable how much Ken Davy is backing them but he’s no spring chicken and you have to wonder what the succession plan is. Will his family continue to invest? Do they have a back up plan? You feel like Wigan would always be a reasonably attractive prospect for buyers, with its history, the training facilities and the crowds the club can attract but Huddersfield would be a tougher sell. If you don’t have that obvious love for the club Davy has, it’s unlikely you’d fancy taking them on. |

there was a link posted on the Warriors fans forum and it doesnt look good across the board to be honest with all clubs making a significant loss (bar Wakey) i'm guessing the downsizing of the Sky TV contract had an impact as well as Covid, but i dont think the clubs can sustain losses at those levels over the next couple of years. now Post covid the clubs will need to get fans back into the grounds in good numbers and a renegotiated TV deal which is better all round for the sport |

Does make you wonder how Huddersfield and indeed Wigan will fare if ever their owners stepped away im sure there would be buyers for them but in the current climate who knows |

Agreed let’s hope this is the case because the sport relies on people like these willing to take the hit in the pocket |
