What other reason can there be for that M62 commute now not being a problem?

A Leyth fan just told me "We all know it wasn't the commute" that was the problem, I asked what was it then.
Apparently it was " Well known he didn't get on with the coach".

Well, I will agree that he has a lot more in common with his new coach, our old one.

When did they become the Leigh Leopards?

Today, they done a big launch and announced a load of signings, pretty impressive list of players, they’ll certainly compete next year. They’re new badge and kit look a bit tacky to say the least though.

Zak Hardaker, Jack Hughes, Ricky Leutele, Tom Briscoe, Jacob Gannon, Oliver Holmes, Gareth O'Brien, Matt Davis, Robbie Mulhern and Nathan Wilde have been announced to go with what was a strong side already with some strong overseas players. I imagine Wakey are a bit worried.

The whole thing is a bit of a laugh surely? The ridiculous name, the stupid kit and even the badly photoshopped pics of Zak and Leutele (who they've not even bothered to change the skin colour on the arms for).

You can just tell that Beaumont is one of tho guys like loads of money, but no taste or class. If the kit and name is anything to go by, I'd shudder to think what his house looks like.

Seems like a perfect fit for Lam.

Just further confirmation, if needed, that Hardaker being moved on was a fine decision.

He pulled the whole ‘it saved my marriage and mental health’ line about his move back to Yorkshire, so he just looks a bit silly now.

The issue with ZH was more that he was expected to travel to and from games with the team on the team bus.

So he had to drive to Wigan, get bus to say Wakefield or Cas, then get back on the bus back to Wigan then drive home.

He had to be frog marched onto the bus after the last game at Wakefield as he was carrying on and refusing to do it and making his thoughts about it clear to all.

Leigh I’m sure will let him travel direct and no doubt give him plenty of rope…enough to no doubt hang himself again.

Not many of those that I would want on our roster.
