Jai is on the shortlist for man of steel along with Croft and Welsby, for me he should win but I won’t be up in arms if either of the other 2 win, seems they’ve got their shortlist correct this year (although maybe Bevan a bit unlucky not to be involved)

It's Field or Croft for sure, I'd go Field but it's very close between him and Croft. Both been sensational.

I'd have Croft a comfortable 3rd. Salford were god awful at the start of the year & I can't remember any "talk" about him back then. Welsby and Field have been good & consistent from rnd.1

Was he really? I genuinely can't remember it. Must be easy enough tho 100% of the ball and no pressure to do anything (blame the rest of the team, when it doesn't come off).
Field has taken somewhat of a back seat since French came back, but he's still been very good. He gets his hands on the ball less, but makes more happen.

On current form it would be French for me he has been outstanding since is return, but on the full season I think they have the right players listed.
I wouldn’t say I’m glad French isn’t on the list but I do like the fact that this will shine more of a light on Jai Field. The form of Bevan French in recent months has been ridiculous but Field has done it for the full season and he’s played a major part in the returns French has got this past few months. He’s shown a different side to his game and some of the touches have been sublime. His bravery is a really underrated quality as well. He should win the award IMO.

I concur although the award to me does not carry too much weight.
