Terrible news. A great player but, more importantly, by all accounts a great man. RIP

A gentle giant off the field, a demon of destruction on it.

So so sad. An absolute legend of the club and the game.

Everything good about rugby in one man and an absolute gentleman.

Some of my fondest memories of watching Wigan involved him with his hands on the ball.

Pace, power, hands and intelligence made him unplayable at times and in the best sense of the word a rugby freak.

So very sad at only 52.

RIP Inga

One of the best players and nicest people I've ever seen, always had a big smile on his face and time for everyone. A big man with a huge character.
R.I.P. Inga.

Absolutely gutted to hear the news today, was at his debut over at Widnes and knew then he would be a star. More or less the same age as me, far far too early. RIP Inga, you were a legend.

Terrible news and absolutely no age either. He’s the name I remember from first starting to watch Wigan with my Dad in the early 90’s at CP. What a player he was too, if he played today he’d be far and out the best in SL.

RIP
