Obviously winning 1 or both of the big 2 is the goal but I would hate to go back to the days of seeing us play poor/dull rugby, qualify for the play offs and win SL. Personally with the squad we have I want us to win the LLS playing a quality brand of entertaining rugby.

Who cares what people will remember in 5 years time? I just want a consistent good season and that is one of the things I believe Lam has set out his stall to achieve.

We in the main achieved that in 2020 and I expect to see improvement next year.

I want to enjoy the full season, not just the last 6 weeks.

Will a Challenge Cup win be enough to earn a contract extension beyond 2021? Or does he need to win SL or both? Many supporters said that he had to win either one of the two major trophies on offer this year given the squad but given the nature of our GF defeat coupled with Covid perhaps many of those were happy to see him get another shot at it.

As someone who didn’t expect us to win the final at any stage this season I can cope with the loss. To be honest last season I enjoyed more than most in recent years. I’d be vexed off if however we don’t win 1 of the big 2 and the LLS next year looking at the squad we are putting together.

Win just that again no improvement and I think we will be looking for a change. Personally I’m a huge fan of what Lam is doing at the club and I think he will deliver us a major trophy as well as the LLS in 21.
