I'd forgotten how good Barry Ward was at NEARLY making tackles. |

Great memories watching that earlier. The last ten minutes were as close as I’ve got to feeling like any of these sports repeats are real these past few weeks. It all felt pretty tense! The young lads were great but what an effort by the likes of Newton, Lam and Craig Smith. |

Danny tickle was great, he was fantastic for Wigan for 3 1/2 seasons and people forget just how young he was, as well as playing above his weight. |

How good were Craig Smith, Terry O'Connor and Danny Sculthorpe? They put our props to shame, especially Craig Smith and his work-rate, unbelievable. Also, it showed how good rugby league can be with minimal input from referees, no shouting hold/set/go, no penalties for the slightest thing, no wrestling and no same move time after time. It was great to watch. |

Craig Smith after a very average first season, was absolutely immense. I can't remeber many better during my time watching Wigan. Danny Sculthorpe was one I was gutted about that never really made it. He was tough, but he had a great rugby brain. |

You watched him that day and he was every bit and probably more skilful than his brother. His handling skills were immense and like Paul, he had that ability to bust the line by ducking under a challenge. I think his diabetes may have played a part in him not getting to the very top. It certainly wasn’t a lack of talent. |
