Another Sunday game this week, after two very good performances back to back we’ll be heading into this with real confidence, hopefully will get 12k+ attendance again especially with the feel good factor around the club at the moment. Regarding team news I’d give Tommy a rest and drop Clubb whether he’s injured or not.

French
Manfredi Hardaker Hankinson Marshall
Smith Hastings
Bryne Powell Partington
Isa Farrell
Smithies

Burgess
Bullock
Flower
Clark

Big bench and try steamroll them from the get go

Bibby possibly back in for Hankinson but either will do fine for me and then it's wether Lam goes big on the bench or gives Bourouh another run.

No need to risk Leuluai and Clubb should certainly be given a game off regardless of his fitness. It’s an ideal opportunity to give Smith a start and get Flower back in to the first team. I’d like to see Bourouh given a chance also. Looking ahead to next season there’s a bench spot open for a halfback/hooker and he’s a chance of grabbing it, if we get to have a look at him this year.

I’d go-

French
Manfredi Hardaker Hankinson Marshall
Smith Hastings
Byrne Powell Partington
Isa Farrell Smithies

Subs
G Burgess Flower Bullock Bourouh

Only minimal changes, need to start settling the team ready for the Saints game, on current form bar Catalan we should be winning these next few games. Clubb needs to be rested for me seems to be struggling with injuries.

Sick of these Sunday and Thursday home games now. And we don’t play at home on a Friday for another 5 weeks. It’s no wonder people stopped buying season tickets with games moving around constantly.

These games haven't been moved around - they've been set as Sunday games since the fixtures came out. If you are looking for someone to blame, look at whoever requested or allocated us home fixtures on all the weekends when the football club were at home on the Saturday. The latics have had their fixtures out since last June, yet still the RFL balls it up.

All teams that share grounds are asked to inform the RFL when pitches aren't available prior to the fixture list being issued. Either we didn't tell them or they are deliberately being a pain in the booty.

Or (third possibility and I think the most likely), we have told them, like we tell them every year, and this is the best they can do.

We should remember it isn't all about Wigan, other clubs are in the same boat. You can please all the people all the time.

I don't see the prob with Sunday afternoon games, I wish we had more of them. Convenient for families, finishes fairly early, what's not to like?

Apart from the fact that it takes almost an entire day from your weekend (at least productively)?

You have time to get up, get something to eat and maybe do a little bit of something before heading out between 12-1:00 and you're not back until tea-time.

I'd rather have every game on a Friday night - Fine for the kids (no school in the morning) and frees up the entire weekend to either go for a day out with the family or get jobs done.
