Congrats to the team on a great defensive effort in terrible conditions. Great to get a couple of wins on the board in the last week. Powell, Flower and Leuluai were all over the place. Some sloppy errors from Burgess, Greenwood and Hankinson. Our lack of size is a big issue. Praying for the recruitment of 2-3 big forwards over the next year. |

Well done to all connected with the win be it players, coaching staff, physios and medics. That was a real tight turn around and to come up with the win was excellent. Not a great watch with mistakes all over the place but the one try was from a piece of opportunism by Powell who saw McShane on the floor and scooted from d/h to score. I did think think that if SKY had used their zoom camera Hardaker would have been awarded the try. Roll on next Thursday. |

Powell gets a lot of criticism from the fans and I’ve given Shorrocks plenty in the last few weeks since he’s gone in to the halves but I thought both were excellent tonight. They always say the game on the weekend after Easter is the tough one and today proved to be just that! It’s a fantastic win all things considered IMO. |

A good win the lads ground a win in horrendous conditions coming off a 3 game in 8 days the match was not a classic to watch but ill take the 2 points thank you. |

As has been said, Hankinson very very good defensively. Marshall was excellent. Conditions were appalling as soon as we scored I said it would end 6-4. Hopefully put a score on London on Thursday, climb the table. And have a long turn around before having a crack at Wire away in the cup, no expectations so just give it our best! |
