Noticed Castleford have copied us with this http://www.superleague.co.uk/article.php?id=20792

And Hull FC have aswell.

Which got me thinking... Why? I think its abit cringey & always feel awkward when its read out at matches, noticed most people around me feel the same aswell. What does everyone else think?

Our 10 year old lad cheers when they say 18 WIGAN WARRIORS FANS!!!

Didn't FIFA originally do this for one of their games? Claiming you would be the 12th man? I'm pretty sure we can't really claim to have came up with the notion, coaches and players often say the home crowd is like an extra man. It's a bit cheesy but if it helps sell merchandise and get bums on seats then so be it.

I don't mind it. I don't even mind the I'm A Warrior thing either. It's a good marketing tool.
