He wasn't in the squad yesterday at Salford, does anyone know why? Is he injured or just not selected? His was one name I did expect to be on the team sheet.

He was at Orrell for training, very early I believe. I suspect he may get a run out at Barrow.

Think he's fallen down in the rankings a bit, I was very suprised that Crosby played ahead of him though so wouldn't be suprised if there did turn out to be an injury involved.

He didn't play that long, didn't do anything spectacular but didn't let anyone down either.

Thought he went well. Made some good solid drives and tackled well. Definitely didn't seem fazed by playing against better quality opposition than the U20's. One to watch for the future.
'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.' Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.
