switched it off after 10 minutes, how boring was that, and how small was the pitch, if the pitch had 10/20 ft longer it might have been abit more exciting |

Watched the last few games, I quite enjoyed it. Loved Gary Connolly dropping the ball and trotting off embarrassed. But best of all was watching Andy Greg with ball in hand one last time.....so what if he only lasted a few minutes, I certainly never thought I'd seen him playing again. Although it seemed to be a mix of RL and RU players it was played League rules tick and pass and there was a heavy League influence in it (even Ellery and Ray French handed out the cup to Robbie Paul). It said it was the First Legends Competition, as if its going to be an annual event. Where was it held? It would be somewhere to take the kids I suppose next year, maybe get a few autographs. |
