Feel sorry a little for Withers for being in there, as he was a great player (remember him destroying us at Old Trafford with a hat-trick?), it's just that by the time he came to Wigan his body was a wreck!!

He was just $hite in general.....!! The best thing he EVER did for Wigan was knocking on for Bradford in the infamous playoff win allowing Richards to slot over the winning drop goal in the last minute..! :lol:

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

He was a massive part of fixing the the worst right sided defence in wigans history in 06.

He should have got more credit for this work than he did

Give over for a back he was slower than a tax rebate, screwed up many a good move. Think he scored one cracker. Like Millard, Wilkes, McDonald he was never 'Wigan Standard' but he came on the cheap as our Salary Cap was screwed in 2006. In essence, you get what you pay for!
