Now is the time for the Wigan fans to really get behind their players at the DW Stadium next year. Some great initiatives to get kids and newbies through the turnstiles next season. I'm planning to upgrade my ticket to a Family 4 ticket (2 Adults, 2 Kids). In addition, there's a very good chance I'm going to recommend 2 new Adults next season (netting me a 20% discount and a signed 09 shirt, which I will probably frame).
Any one else looking to assist the 'upping of the current average'? It would be superb if IL's dream of 20K average were to come true within his expected time of 2 years (although a winning team would go a long way to ensuring this).
We really need to equal (and surpass) season 2006 - average/noise/passion. I think it really could help the team win those close games, just look at the effect it had at 'The Big One'.

The club have a potentially money-spinning marketing tool now, with Maguire and Wane at the helm. I hope they use it to it's full effect, building up the excitement to the start of the season, a new era etc.
I personally cannot wait for the new season, if I wasn't already a season ticket holder I wouldn't be able to get signed up quick enough!
The missus has also showed an interest, although I've only taken her to two games so far - Cas Away and the Reserves Final. Not sure I could put up with her ramblings every week though
23 - 20 - 4
Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

My missus started watching a few years ago, now a season ticket holder and likes the hotels and shopping in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Perpignan,Paris remember those weekends, but she is not too keen on the shops in Castleford !!!!!!

Renewal only for me. I have already renewed mine. Did so as soon as the pack came through. With the new found optimism surrounding our change of coach I am sure that the average will rise this year. Those that have become a bit apathetic in the last 2 years will surely now come back. I think 20k average in 2 years is probably a stretch too far from 14k but 16k is easily achievable and we may get to 18k if we get any trophies.
It's pretty compact where I sit so the RAF scheme is pointless for me as I wouldn't get to sit with them. If someone I know wants a season ticket and it works out cheaper for us to do it that way I will, but as said we wouldn't be able to sit together.

Renewing and moving to the East stand (subject to approval from Rogues Gallery and co and not being Black Balled)
Feeling my Pished up loud and vocal support may be wasted there though.
A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain coach.
Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....)
The only way that we will get the average up is by winning our home games! And most of the away ones and be up there at the top. Then we can get up to 20k. I think its unrealistic but I doubt IL would say that if he thought he couldnt deliver!
I think 16K if we finish top 3 next season maybe more depending on how wire are doing because they could fill that end.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
