saints v wigan 13087 leeds v catalan 13409 I was very surprised when i heard the leeds crowd the other nite with no away support and they managed to beat the gate at saints last nite its a good job we took over 4500 other wise it would have been very empty. It was one of the best wigan followings at knowsley road for a good few year. |

Yet more weight to the argument that in the middle of a recession, games like this which are arranged at a few days' notice and are on tv should be much much cheaper to go to. I seriously hope the RFL take note and make all playoff tickets £10 adult and £5 kids next year. |

A saints fan I spoke to said that it looked more than the warrington game at the start of the season by miles and that was 17,500! |

There was plenty of space down the side where the most saints fans stand and looked to be room at the open end of the ground. |

Plenty room on the pop side for a few more. We had loads of elbow room to move about in. Sometimes we are squashed in like sardines but there were spaces up and down the ground. |

Should have sold out, I was rushing so my mate could pay on the gate and another friend decided not to go because she was sure it would be sold out. I think it's fair to say something hasn't worked so far with the play offs, surely attendances should be higher for big games not lower |

I'm not being sarcastic or funny, but couldn't she have just phoned if she really wanted to go? |

Course she should, she's not a proper fan, just decided she wanted to go on the day but decided against it because she didn't think she'd get in. We did try to phone for both her and my other mate a ticket on the day but the ticket lines were shut, maybe they didn't anticipate many people wanting to reserve tickets ahead of a semi final derby game in a low capacity stadium. |
