I will still watch the club out of pure devotion and love for Wigan RL. But I will be bitterly disappointed that the couple of signings we are away from making us a great side again have not been made and will not be looking forward to seeing the same average players again.

I don't know why your laughing TBH. Unless your not a Wigan fan.

Cadoo, i have watched wigan from when ian potter was prop and david stephenson was kicking goals. my wooden seat from central park is in my garage! dont start please. what makes me laugh is your over the top reaction because its obvious you want certain players out.. you can believe what you want but i think i know a bit more than you, contact saints if you want  but dont let your opinion blind common sense. your making out some of our current players are rubbish..... can you not be positive about anything?? your entitled to your opinion but dont talk about things you clearly have little knowledge of.

Anyone seen that try from Craig Calvert on sky sports tonight? No winger at Wigan could of scored that.

I do want certain players out. Not because I have anything against them personally or some sort of vendetta. I just believe the performances they have put in at Wigan (namely Phil Bailey and Andy Coley) over the course of their entire stay at Wigan (not just the last few weeks) has not been up to the standard that will take us into the top two. They have both been average at best and now that both their contracts are up we have the chance to release them and strengthen in the forwards. Something we have been needing to do for the last two seasons.

Quote:but dont let your opinion blind common sense.

I don't think this applies to me - more to you. I have stated my reasons and both times you have replied you told me to not watch Wigan next season and that you think you know more than me. You have offered nothing to the debate and can't offer me any reasons against my argument.

But some of them are or are not up to a good enough standard to break into the top two. Hence our current position and hence we have never been near Saints or Leeds for 4/5 years?

Quote:can you not be positive about anything??

Of course I can but can you not be realistic about anything?

Quote:your entitled to your opinion but dont talk about things you clearly have little knowledge of.

That is very rich coming from someone who has offered absolutely nothing to this debate.

What exactly are you referring to here?

Unbelievable try!

He's a player i think a few superleague teams have looked at for a number of years now but nobody has ever taken a punt on him.

We don't need any wingers but there must be a superleague side that could mould him into a better player.

ok here goes....It just seems that you think other clubs would not be interested in the likes of coley and bailey because your opinion of them is so low. saints have enforcer props in graham etc and realistically might want coley who is solid in defence and quite quick for a prop to sit on there bench as fourth choice prop. So to would wire. The qualities they have will be snapped up at other clubs. I understand that we dont have an enforcer prop and need one (Coley is certainly not that) but I would still like to see him being kept on at Wigan for the same reasons that the likes of saints, wire and possibly hudds are interested in having him at their clubs for.
Do you kind of understand the point i am making? I still want to see Kite and Webb here, dont get me wrong.

If we signed Coley and he continues to play the way he has played over the last 2 years, I would be very dissapointed.

If he signed for Saints, he would get coached into playing his weight and would be a very good standard.

Unless something drastic happens to the coaching setup at Wigan, its a lose-lose situation.
