I was just looking on the bulls website and the bulls forum for details about parking and catering for the match on Sunday with the reserves game being after the main game and came across this bit of news on both sites.
Now I have never had much time for the Bulls and the in your face attitude when they were winning everything years ago but I do think it is very sad that they may not be able to fill one coach for the game.
It goes to show just how amazing our fans were in 2006 when we stood up to be counted rather than go into hiding.

Having experienced for myself how a great side can unravel due to severe mismanagement at the top, I sympathise with their plight.

I feel sorry for Bradford like cruncher mentioned it's a similar case to what happened to us, the question for me is are Bradford as a club strong enough to get back to somewhere near the top, I would say it's doubtful.

Would feel sorry for any club to be where we were and they are due to mismanagement, even saints! However that may not last too long.
However with regards to the bradford fans, this is a problem with no relegation. Had there been relegation, the fans could have gotten behind them, much like we did in 2006, however now without that threat hanging over them, many fans just may be waiting for next year!
That could of course prove even worse, as according to many, bradford are a bit strapped, and obviously less coming through the doors will perpetuate this.
Hope they get it sorted, however, i think it will be a harder road back than we had, and lets face we are far from 'back'
Maybe the introduction of a knockout competition for the 9th to 12th placed teams would be a solution to lack of interest once you lose touch with the top eight. 9th v 12th and 10th v 11th, winners play as curtain raiser to GF. It wouldn't have the same intensity as fighting to survive but if in place this season Bradford and Salford would be scrapping to get into it and the fans of those clubs would at least have something to see the team chase.
Another alternative is to have any teams that finish in the bottom two/three in any season during a franchise period be the only ones that are in the firing line to lose their place next time so the clubs would have to scrap to keep themselves safe for their next licence.
Bradford have done an Arsenal in football. Had a really good team a few years back then lost most of their good players in a short period of time. It's just a case of rebuilding.
They will never be as good as they were but it would only be good for the game to have a really strong Bradford team as they would bring massive crowds and boost other peoples with away support.
This is not a dig at Hudds but they are 3rd and have all these low priced tickets and still don't get many more than last year but if Bradford were in 3rd they would be getting well over 12,000 every game.
It would be great if they made their way back to the top it would be great to see all the premier clubs at the top of the game.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Yes we did both attend the game at Celtic, but wish we did not bother with the pitiful performance.
I just find it a shame that Bradfords fans seem to be deserting them when they need them the most. I gues that is the danger though with the razmattaz at Odsal, it gets a lot of fair weather fans in who go when you win everything but dont bother when things are not going well.

I agree with your first paragraph but away support is not on the agenda of the powers that be or else Bridgend would have been - rightly IMO - refused admission. Replace them with Widnes and virtually every club benefits through better gates, though why I keep occasionally banging this drum is even a mystery to me...
