He may be struggling to goal kick at the moment but he is in hot hot form over the try line. His ratio for tries on the wing this season is almost as good as Ainscough's was which says a lot perhaps about players who play alongside George Carmont.

He's got 10 tries in his last 6 matches and tonight (or last night if your pedantic) he overhauled Ainscough to become our top try scorer.

For the record Pat has 15 tries from 12 games on the wing this season and only 3 tries in 8 games playing Full Back.

He is 17 points behind Kevin Sinfield in his attempt to be SL top try scorer for a third year in a row. Pat has scored 9 more tries than Sinfield but kicked 26 less goals.

Great to see him get over the try line. Why did we think we were going to play him as a centre when he first came over?

He needs to work on the bit in bold above.

It's worrying. I don't think he is the worst on his own, but as a team we are now the worst kickers in the league. Not a clue why he is struggling but the stats don't lie when it comes to goal kicks (he has 64 goals from 96 attempts).

I said last weekend if we want to compete with Leeds, St Helens, Warrington and maybe even Bradford in the upcoming weeks we need Pat to be kicking better.

I don't know what's happened to Pat. He never used to miss but in the last few games he's kicking has been poor.

There's no doubt about it, as we come up against the other big guns and the playoff's we'll need Pat at his best to progress.

His kicking is way off par though. Nearly cost us the game.

Weak pack means we are scoring more tries in wide positions.

Just remember how many kicks Pat actually takes from the touch line. Almost every try we score is on or around the touch line.

Leeds score everywhere on the line, so its hardly surprising Sinfield is the leading licker.

Pat's kicking ratio has been poor by his standards all season, but Bilko's stats also back up the point that we're scoring alot more tries out wide, which despite the lack of conversions I'm really happy to see.
