I just hope he comes back bigger and better. He'll be like a new signing next season. (hopefully a good one!)

Shame for him, seems to have a great attitude that kid and I'm sure he'll come back strongly.

This is not good news.

The kid was in great form, hopefully he'll be tearing it up in the gym so he's bigger and better for when he comes back.

Thats a blow because we could have done with him putting some pressure on the likes of Fielden and especially Feka.

He's a good young player with a fine attitude and having a good attitude can't be said of a few of our lads.

If an injury strikes can we recall Mossop?

I'd leave him playing in a decent team.

Yeah i suppose that will do him more good then coming back into a pressure cooker atmosphere at Wigan.

Hopefully whoever takes over next year will realise this lads potential and get him in the 17.

imo if i were noble, i'd just throw as many wigan lads in the team because

a) it would possibly please at least a few fans, even if we lost we could say that we are playing with more wigan kids

b) to at least show that he wants to try different things! never know we may win.

c) this season is a right off already, and with the semi still a good few weeks away, why not start blooding some youngsters ready for next year?

Roberts
Richards
Carmont/Pryce
Gleeson
Ainscough

Sam
Tommy

Joel
O'Loughlin
Hock / Mossop / Flanaghan

Prescott
Riddell
Fielden

BENCH

Feka
McIllorum*
Farrell/Flanaghan
Mossop/Hock**

* [think next year he has to go out on loan, look what its done for moore at hudd, plus i genuinely believe riddell offers more to the team]

** [I think one will/should make the step-up, both have the ability to become v good props imo, similar to peacock, which woud then allow more of our second row talent to be in the team at at the same time]

I know it won't happen, because Noble won't drop phelps, coley or bailey. Fair enough phelps has done well this year, but i dont think he is worth a quota spot, which would be better used on a prop or a SH, so why don't we already start planning for next year with regards to mossop/flanaghan/ainscough

If Noble goes that might not be necessary.

With Eamon injured and our props being very poor would it not be worth bringing Mossop back and giving him a few games enabling Prescott to have a rest
