Why replace Noble mid-season?

Is Lam up to it anyway? He coached PNG in the World Cup. But was that good enough to be running to him now?

I think we should be sticking with a coach who is improving the club slowly. I think next year will be our year.

Wait till the end of the season, we could still have a good season.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

Totally agreed, there is no advantage in changing the coach in mid season IMO

Great minds think alike  ........ or equally stupid ones, we will see at the end of the season, the team has proved what it can be made of when they all step up to the plate, I am not certain we can put it all down to just one man.

Never been a fan of Lam as Wigan coach. He just doesn't have the coaching experience.

Whether Noble gets the boot before the end of the season depends (obviously) on results and also IL's attitude to sacking a coach. The Saints result has gone a long way to ensuring he will see his contract out IMO.

However if out of the next set of fixtures we only beat Salford and Celtic the pressure will be back on and the cheaper it will be to pay him off the further into the season we go. If that happened with the results whether IL would not want to be seen as a chairman to sack a coach or if he felt he had to appease the fans will be interesting to see.
