With all this talk about Saints attacking Ainscough with the high ball (if he plays) I think that we can return the favour with Meli.
I believe that this could be a weakness for the Saints team.
I also think our kicking game needs to be top draw too, that was the only thing that let us down on MT. One bad kick the set after Ainscough scored then saints replied.

I'd be trying to turn Meli round all day and peppering him with any sort of kicks we can get near him.

He's liable to make the odd mistake when you'd least expect it.

He's liable to a mistake the moment he steps onto the field

The thing you don't do is target him because he will have a great game. He does it randomly.

Maybe he'll slip on the way to the field and rule himself out through injury!

Be just our luck :D

Saints are very vulnerable to the grubber kick because they shoot off their line so quickly so we should constantly kick on the 4th tackle.
Their defence (winger and centre) were nowhere to be seen on the kick through for Tadulala's first try. Wellens tried in vain to get across.
Kick, kick, kick and we will win.

Yeah, but to be fair, that was the match when we played backwards remember. I mean, we were exceptionally off our collective heads that night so I wouldn't necessarily take our performance then as a measure of what's to come. Not that any of us know what is to come, but so long as we remember to play forwards then we should be in with a chance.

we did this on MT on one occasion and ainscough went in for his first try, its definitely worth going at.

He can be awful or awesome
Against leeds in the GF he was terrible, but against them in the cup this year he was brilliant

of the two saints wingers you would choose to attack with high bombs it would surely be gardner ?
has a fine record of dropping high bombs; especially under pressure in high profile matches
