i think it was 1994. I remember Neil Cowie with his nose all over his face telling Adam Fogerty to Feck Off. . Both Cowie and Fogerty got 10 minuets in the sin bin, and as Cowie was coming off the field he was telling all the stains fans that "He was F****** having it". A classic game and also Martin Offiah scored the winning try in the last minuets of the game, then ran round the field and did the nodding celebration with Shaun Edwards. Does anyone remember the stains ball boy giving Offiah the fingers. LOL |

Boxing Day 1994 when we built a big lead, got pegged back then still won with Tuigamala's late efforts. Fogerty was only sin binned as stated above. I got the DVD and the Sky TV Graphics at the time showed a metal bin to symbolise the sin bin. |

Cheers for that, i will be getting that one later this week. was it the same game that Cowie grabbed Bobbie Goulding in a sort of half nelson before Super Kel smashed him round the head?? i think he got his marching orders for that, goulding was starfished as result IIRC i think this may have been a challenge cup game. my memory is not what it used to be (shame really, im only 28!!) cheers fellas |

Tuigamala was immense in that game. He made Feka's charges look lightweight and unlike Feka he smashed the scousers for the full 80 mins. Stains had no answer to his power (but then no team did, even the Aussies when they played on tour at CP found Inga very difficult to stop indeed). Schofield still thinks he was a failure though... |

Schofield still thinks he was a failure though... Garry Schofield is a waste of space moron. I agree from what i remember his try was a proper 50 yarder knocking about 5 players over in the process!! those where the days |

If you get the DVD watch out for a scrum late on where Bobby Goulding completely misses the scrum in the most blatant feeding in the history of the game. Inga's try was actually from about 25yards out ( he was given a great ball by Connolly) and he completely blitzed the Stains defence. |

Yeah Paul was sent off for a collision with Steve Prescott, and Kel was sin binned after landing one on Ian Pickavance. What a great game that was. I remember Tommy Martyn celebrating with his shirt over his head after they came back, only for Inga and Offiah to cross late on. |

Awesome game. Still got a copy on video. Just makes me wish I was 10 years older then I could have truly appreciated the glory years rather than the dross we have to put up with today. |
