It's probably been asked before but after another storming preformence would you keep him on?
If it were on a 12month deal to keep him on his toes i'd say yes persoanlly. He's looking a real handful at the moment with his running, offloads and his aggresive defence.
If we were to release Bailey and sign a new prop with his money we could maybe do a Saints/Catalans and play with 5 props with him in the backrow on occasion.
It's be a shame to let him go and watch him play like this for another club.

they had one of his former coaches on radio manchester about a month ago who was saying he really felt for coley and all the stick he was getting. he said that using coley as a stright up the middle prop was a waste of time and that coley did most damage running wide.
to be honest i wouldn't be going all out to sign him up. do we have the lads to come through and replace him or would we have to go out and sign a replacement?

If it means we missed out on a Prop target such as Bailey then no, if we could recruit a top Prop and retain him, maybe, still annoyed it is contract time and he starts to play.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

If he goes we'll sign a replacement without doubt but what i'd prefare is to let Coley replace Bailey in squad terms(not position all of the time) and then get a new prop to take his place.
Play with 5 big lads in the 17, win the forward battle and let Ainscough, Gleeson, Richards, Tomkins and co rack up the points.
He's finding form now yeah its no coincidence contract time is up.
Quite frustrating really, after the Salford game im not doubting that hes been playing really well but for 2 years before that hes been nothing but down right lazy. I want a good decent honest prop who will put the work in week in week out and with Bailey and his Wages we could probably get 2!

It's always the same here at Wigan isn't it which is frustrating.
The only way i can think of turning that round is by using it as a positive to us and signing the guy on a 12 month deal to make him keep earning a new deal.
