Anyone going to Edinburgh for the Magic Week-end and travelling by train either Saturday or Sunday there or back. I`ve just seen on rail web site that the train between Lockerbie/Edinburgh is being replaced by coach and subsequently 2 hrs will be added to the journey. Hope this does not spoil it for anyone just warning in advance.

Aye think we have a replacement bus coming back. Can't say I'm too fussed though. Can't really complain when you're only paying £8 :D

Was thinking about going on the train until I saw the times/delays etc, so the car is now the job

I am going up on friday and coming back on the monday. The only change is at Lancaster when we have to get a bus to Preston. I can't complain - £5 for train, £75 for digs and £9 for a ticket for both days. It aint that bad being a student.

Ye i'm glad me and the gf ended up going for the friday morning train now then! Doesn't take hardly any time considering the distance when going direct either

Would you, per chance, be on the 11.38 train? That's the one we're on. Not sure about coming back. I just turn up and give someone my money.

Nah we're on the 9.38 train cos I'm a bit of a geek and wanted to get there early enough to do some sightseeing
