Anyone going to Edinburgh for the Magic Week-end and travelling by train either Saturday or Sunday there or back. I`ve just seen on rail web site that the train between Lockerbie/Edinburgh is being replaced by coach and subsequently 2 hrs will be added to the journey. Hope this does not spoil it for anyone just warning in advance.

Aye think we have a replacement bus coming back. Can't say I'm too fussed though. Can't really complain when you're only paying £8

Was thinking about going on the train until I saw the times/delays etc, so the car is now the job

I am going up on friday and coming back on the monday. The only change is at Lancaster when we have to get a bus to Preston. I can't complain - £5 for train, £75 for digs and £9 for a ticket for both days. It aint that bad being a student.

We are on the direct train from Wigan to Edinburgh friday morning, coming back is a slight pain, bus to carlise then train onwards, but like woody mentiones above, only cost £8
