Now that Goulding has been confirmed as going on loan to Salford, we can put that to bed. However, I had to take note of one of his quotes on Sporting Life: Quote:Goulding, who scored eight tries in 21 appearances for Wigan last season, said: "It's exciting to be joining a club on top form.
How embarassing is that ??? He seems to be stating that he's glad to be leaving Wigan for a team that's doing well - Salford. That says everything for me - Beep, beep. Taxi's here Brian. |

I think it's one of those comments that could read two ways. Unfortunate choice of words I would go with rather than anything sinister meant by it. |

The "stuck in the academy" quote gets to me. We've opted for Karl Pryce and to play Phil Bailey out of position rather than play Goulding at centre. I don't understand why. |

So you believe that Goulding would not have done a better job than Karl Pryce or Phil Bailey at centre? |

Pryce offered nothing against Catalans. In fact he did nothing. Goulding would have offered us much more than Karl Pryce IMO even if just on sheer enthusiasm alone. Goulding would have ran his blood to water which is more than what we can say for Karl Pryce. |

Pryce yes Bailey no, problem with Pryce he has talent he just doesn't seem to have a rugby brain or get stuck in. |
