The forwards are simply not up to it, not big enough, strong enough aggressive enough. Yet every game we try and take teams on up the middle, not playing to our strengths. The most frustrating thing has to be the basic errors, is keeping hold of a ball really as hard as the players make it look? No of course it isn't. People say its not the coach's fault that a player drops the ball but surely the amount of times it happens for us it means they are being poorly coached because it should be worked on and perfect in training before the season begins. It would be acceptable if it was once a while on a rainy night that they dropped so much ball but it seems to be near enough every week. NOT GOOD ENOUGH
It isn't the coaches fault players drop the ball - but its the coaches fault the players aren't cohesive, aren't playing to any sort of format and are clearly lacking bottle, skill and passion.
Times up for Mr Noble I'm afraid.
