To be 3 from 10 is not acceptable. 6 from 10 would just about be acceptable but we are nowhere near that. The forwards are simply not up to it, not big enough, strong enough aggressive enough. Yet every game we try and take teams on up the middle, not playing to our strengths. The most frustrating thing has to be the basic errors, is keeping hold of a ball really as hard as the players make it look? No of course it isn't. People say its not the coach's fault that a player drops the ball but surely the amount of times it happens for us it means they are being poorly coached because it should be worked on and perfect in training before the season begins. It would be acceptable if it was once a while on a rainy night that they dropped so much ball but it seems to be near enough every week. NOT GOOD ENOUGH |

It isn't the coaches fault players drop the ball - but its the coaches fault the players aren't cohesive, aren't playing to any sort of format and are clearly lacking bottle, skill and passion. Times up for Mr Noble I'm afraid. |

Our major issue and it's been our major issue for a very long time and especially these last couple of seasons under Noble has been 'attitude'. Plain and simple. He only gets them up for the play offs but because of our poor regular season form we leave ourselves too much to do. |

Times up for Mr Noble I'm afraid. does anyone else think we should bring in an american football running back coach to show em how to hold the ball (assuming they catch it). the hits those guys take are awesome, but they hang onto the football....thats part of the skill. dropping the ball in either NFL or league is unnaceptable imo. |

Times up for Mr Noble I'm afraid. I agree and have thought this for a good while. I like Noble and appreciate what he has done for Wigan but I just don't think he can take the club any further. |

I have been in the neutral camp on the Noble issue but today was a probably a defeat too far. There was just no structure at all, in defence and attack. The players looked like they didn't know what to do, chuck it to the nearest teammate and hope for the best. It was painful to watch. I was gutted I couldn't go to France this year but I feel sorry for those who shelled out their hard-earned cash to watch that garbage. You cannot coach stupid passes and rushed offloads, but the question is, why are we playing like that in the first place? Why did our defence hang back and let the Catalans forwards steamroller us at pace? Why don't we have set moves, like the Bosc kick for Greenshields? Why is our play-the-ball so painfully slow? Poorly coached and out-enthused again. If BN has any self-respect he'd hand in his cards tonight. Abysmal peformance. |

Without Noble coming to us in 2006 I don't think we would be in SL right now. He's taken us as far as he can and I think he should leave sooner rather than later to salvage some dignity at least. |

Noble has to go simple as. The team confidence is shot to bits but yet we still go out and play the same boring rugby that is getting us beat. The players are playing badly and i really don't think he has the skills to shake them up and build some confidence back either. After the Saints game and the effort the players seemed to have put in I’m frankly disgusted with the drop after just four days and Noble has to take the blame. Anyone who has played sport knows when your playing in a team low on confidence you own game starts to suffer and things you normally find routine even basics like catching and passing don’t come as easy as what they do when you’re tails are up. |
