| What are peoples opinions so far?
Imo both have been so hit and miss it's untrue. I wouldn't put them down in the bracket of failed overseas signings because they've shown some very good touches but both need to find some consistancy.
A run of decent form and results would do them the power of good tbh.

They have only been here 1/4 of a season the weather has been bad and Roberts Family have only just come over last Monday give him Chance as for Riddell he is looking fitter every game he played 30 mins of the first half on Thursday takes time for oversea player to settle in

| I'm not really sure about Riddell yet, I like some of his running from dummy half, I'm just not sure if other players are on his wavelength yet, I think your spot on though. A decent run of form might do him the world of good!
I like Roberts so far, he looks exciting in open play, I'm not convinced about his catching though, doesn't look great under the high ball under pressure. I can't wait to see him go the length of the field, I haven't seen someone in cherry and white do that properly in ages. Calderwood did, but not properly, he rarely had to beat men to do it, he needed to have nothing infront of him at all.
*Edit* I've changed my mind, I like Roberts alot, just for smashing Gilmour awesome hit from a winger on a second row

| Roberts was quality in the saints game, he will kick on from here and have the same sort of impact Dallas did.
Riddell will settle in well for next season, this season we wont see the best of him, but after seeing things like his pass out wide at salford there is no denying he is a quality signing, I just hope he can do it consistantly.

Ala Brett Dallas that one!
although Roberts looked stunned himself that he'd put him on his ar*e and it took him an age to pounce on him

The Saints game could really have been a game that made Roberts Wigan career but the luck wasn't quite on his side.
The ball didn't quite sit up for him in the first half from Tomkins grubber nor did it when he hacked through in the 2nd half and he didn't quite manage to deal with a tough high ball in the 2nd half although Nobby said he felt he'd been taken out.
It's a fine line.

| I think both have shown some nice touches and will only get better
Roberts wife and kids finally coming over is great news for him and I'm sure I even saw a hint of a smile on Thursday He looks very quick and his change of speed is good, Gleeson now being his centre is yet another good thing for him so I am confident he can be a good signing worth a good few tries a season
Riddell has improved a lot since that mess we saw for the first 3 games, when the combination between him, Tommy and Sam fully clicks we should be a greater attacking threat. Confident he will prove himself

| I rate them both highly.
I think they'll go on to become very good players for the club.
Very pleased to see a vast improvement in Riddell's fitness and his enthusiasm is there for all to see.

I don't think it was luck when he hacked through. He didn't look confident at all. Think about when Lee Smith won the game for leeds last year, he booted that ball and I think we all knew that was going to sit up for him. Roberts just didn't seem confident at all.
Roberts could have won that game for us, fair play to him, can't do anything about the bounce of the ball, but two or three chances taken there would have buried that game and we would have all been singing his praises...well...apart from saint simon (who seems to get about on these boards )

| Lets be honest, neither have done much so far, still a little early in the season to judge but its fair to expect a massive improvement in both.
