So the Hull Derby won by 0.3% or 105 votes out over over almost 50,000 votes cast against the Saints/Pies Derby in 2nd place. Bit of a pointless poll, I'm sure the Cas/Wakey match means just as much to their supporters.

this sort of article shows what a great game our game is. Annoys me that this is on a 'times blog' though. That sort of article should be in the paper.....show the world what an awsome game we have!

How do you know how many votes cast?

I wouldnt be surprised if the pretty savvy journo put that poll up just to show that there are 50000 rl fans who read the rl section of time website, how many would read your paper for the rl section? The sun is poss? the worst paper in circulation but has a good rl section (part of Newscorp with sky) so i buy it along with my regular newspaper

Not down here it isn't. We're lucky to get four or five lines in a very thin column, on a Friday.

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013

Romain Navarrete: ā€œIā€™m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.ā€

Wigan Saints the biggest, before SL hardly anything was mentioned about Bradford Leeds, that derby has been bulled up to make SL league look good, as for Hull Hull KR fair enough it may well be the only true derby but, until KR where in SL that derby had not been played for years, there for Wigan and Saints still the biggest game

Wigan are the most succesful team in the history of RL in this country.

Saints are the current best team since super league began and have dominated this era.

When 2 teams and clubs are this big it has to be the biggest derby.
