You know I think its 110 years since we've started so badly a season at home. We hadn't even moved to Central Park then. Pretty depressing stat.

Thing is though we could have won most of our 4 home losses so far. Just missing the bit of class in final quarters of games methinks.

Not looked at the stats, but last night we were on about our losses so far this season. Our first three matches were lost by 6,8 and 6 points respectively, and our only heavy defeat was against Leeds.

I just hope that we don't get into this way of thinking that close enough is good enough.

I thought about this today also.

Anyone remember Frank endacott losing his job after just ten games? we'd only lost 3! How times have changed

Not too sure mate. I know we'd been knocked out of the cup at the first hurdle though

The leagues is so tight outside of the top 2 that anybody can beat anybody else on their day and it's proving that way.

If we'd been that bit more clinical in attack and had the odd bounce of the ball we could have come away with wins in every game bar the Leeds one so far.

Attitude has played it's part in all our defeats though tbh. If we turn up in the same mindset for the rest of our fixtures this season as we did last night we'll win at least 2/3 of them.

saying the same thing after the game on fri....woeful stat! those 'fortress JJB' banners have been well and truely binned for at least a year!!

As long as we continue to play like we did last night though i can live with it. We wont have lost more than we've won at the end of the season playing like that! Just need to rid the consistancy and keep playing that way. weve shown we can match saints and but for a couple of unlucky bounces of the ball we would and really should have won.

Same as when Stu Raper was sacked.....

and above Saints in both instances.
