Well done wigan, trying to be as neutral as is possible, you really had the oppurtunity to beat us tonight, with desire like your home grown players showed you must be about to turn a corner. Also, and this hurts me to write, but fat pal was on great form tonight and a real threat to us, the best i've seen him play.
With your sam at 7 and our kyle at 6 i see a rosy future for england rl.
The derby is back! :D

I realise I am being completely negative tonight but...

It still doesn't feel like a real derby. I never once thought tonight that it could suddenly boil over at any point and fists would be flying.

Now I know that shouldn't be the mark of a good derby but I feel it was lacking passion some what from Saints in particular.

Although a bit of competitiveness in the game is a nice change.

I imagine they were a bit tired and bruised after leeds, but dont take anything away from wigan they really played well.

I think saints were drilled not to niggle or be niggled.
My credit goes to wellens, played full match against leeds, then wife drops sprog, doesnt sleep since, gets face smashed in after 80 grueling minutes against wigan, gets straight up, goes home to crying baby no sleep, has to play leeds on monday, good week for the lad, i bet he ages 20 yrs!
