Post subject:  Ray err French

Watched the err Catalans err Bullser game err on err the weekend err Jonathan and I err couldn't err believe howerr much err worse the always err poor Ray French now is.

He's always been high pitched and Sintelins of voice which is never good in anyone, he still emits prolonged 'Oh' and 'Ooooooooooohs' rather than actually describe the action and he loves to go on about the old days far too much even for people who were actually there. However, added to his traditional faults, he now seems to be unable to go three words without punctuating them with an "err.." (he used to manage at least five) and is losing his ability to recognise players and game state.

RL needs to project a positive image whenever it gets a foot in the national terrestrial TV door and in no way can Raymondo be said to be doing that. Thank him for his hard work and put him out to grass, we must be able to do better. If all else fails, I'm sure I can spare a few weekends a year to do it myself

I get sick of hearing the word "former" whenever Ray is commentating.

Indeed, sadly never suffixed by the words "BBC commentator Raymond French"
