i know a lot of people thought he was crap but i hope it works out for him at warrington and that he plays well apart from when we play them |

He had the right attitude put couldn't apply himself on the pitch. Nice lad and I wish him all the best for the future. |

i think it is a real shame it never worked out for him. he always seemed to remain positive in any interview i read (especialy give the dogs abuse he got on here) seems like a nice lad, best of luck at wolves richie. |

I reckon Mathers will be challenging for England fullback in the 2010/11 season if Smith stays because Smith is the kind of coach that will take Mathers to one side, take him under his wing and nurture him. He will put bombs up all day for Mathers to practise aswell as his defence. Good luck Richie! |

There aren't many with the attitude and enthusiasm of Mathers and I really hope he find some form at Warrington for his sake. He comes across as a top bloke and I wish him all the best. |

Just like to echo the comments on here. He was a truly awful player for us but not through a lack of effort. Always appeared to have the right attitude and i wish him the best. Hopefully a change in scenery may bring his confidence back. |
