Personally, I'd like to see this happen with the next few weeks.

Lee Mossop deserves a call up and is playing very well in the reserves. He is strong, versatile and even played prop at the weekend.

Hansen is a good defender and good runner close to the line but seems to be too settled & is plodding on, content with just a good defensive display. IMO he's lost alot of enthusiasm and doesn't seem to be playing for his place. I'd like to see him being taken out of his comfort zone and an opportunity to given to a young player who's debut is way over due.

Thank god someone else is seeing this.

Mossop/Farrell or Flanny to get a call up. If they play out of their skins we'll be calling them first teamers before we know it. Similar situation to what's happened with Tomkins (both) and Ainscough.

Time to keep pushing for the best team possible from our squad.

I'd like to see one or two kids get a chance on the bench on Sunday without us taking Barrow too lightly. Mossop certainly.

i'd rather drop coley.
he doesn't bring anything, let alone defensive qualities!

Stevo on a Craig Smith intersept, "that was like throwing tomato seeds out of a moving train window and coming back a year later and tomatoes have grown!"

Eddies reaction, "I don't know what he's been taking but i wants some"

Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, says he has failed to be gripped by England's rugby union World Cup bid.
"I've not seen it," said the England striker. "I've been watching the rugby league."

I thought he was okay on Friday. Guess okay isn't good enough.

I rate Hansen tbh and i also rate Joel Tomkins but neither have been at the top of their games this year so far and both are at risk of being rested/dropped at the weekend.

If that keeps them on their toes and makes them work that bit harder then theres no harm in it imo.

Mossop and Farrell really do look handy players when i've seen them and both must be given a shot sooner or later.

I know Coley is a scape goat, but this is very harsh. He set up two of Wigans tries against Salford and Baileys try on Friday from his off loads.

Well Hansen's and Tomkins' 2009 defensive stats are near enough on par and Joel is obviously the better attacking player of the two, that's why I'd opt to drop Hansen. Tomkins is more of a complete player and is much more versatile to play at SR or Lock.

I just think Hansen needs to be taken out of his comfort zone and realise the quality that can/might replace him. It will bring out the best in him as well as giving a deserved opportunity who I repeat, deserves an over due debut.

Sooner stick Mossop/Flanny/Farrell in the second row, Mossop-not at prop just yet.

Unfair on Joel, he's a quality loose playing SR, it's high time Lockers was moved to SR and Joel to 13 for the good of the team. Joel was much better at 13 last season when Lockers was out.

Even though he's our capt, if Lockers were injured I wouldn't be too considered, we could play Joel at 13 with a few to pick from for the SR slots.

Hate to say it, but I'd sooner see Lockers out than-
Richards
Tommy
Carmont
Hock
Ainscough
Sam Tomkins
Joel Tomkins

Long term I would love to see Mossop at prop but yeh hopefully he will play at Barrow instead of Hanson IMO it would be the best time to do this, but Hanson should play against saints.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know
